About Us
Green Road Group is an infrastructure design practice that also writes software. We have been designing roads, structures and networks since 2018, and along the way we started building the tools we wished we had. Those tools are now products in their own right, used by engineers who have the same problems we do.
That combination is the whole point of the company. Our plugins are not written by developers who have read about drafting — they are written by the people who spend their days in the drawings, for the parts of the job that should never have been manual in the first place.
What we do
Infrastructure design
Complete design packages for highways, urban corridors, trunk pipelines and reinforced concrete structures — bridges, retaining walls and culverts — from survey through to issued documentation.
CAD automation and software
Plugins and automation tools for AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ZWCAD and GstarCAD. Some are sold on this site; others are built to order for a specific office and its standards. If a task in your workflow is repetitive enough to be worth automating, it usually is.
Surveying and spatial planning
Topographic and geological survey, and the horizontal and vertical planning that follows from it.
Visualisation
Renders and fly-through animations for presentations and tender submissions, produced from the same models as the drawings rather than rebuilt separately.
Technical consulting
Review of mechanical and electrical installations, early identification of the constraints that become expensive later, and value engineering on packages that have already been costed.
How we work
Three things matter to us more than anything we could put in a brochure: the drawings are right, the documentation is complete, and the date we agreed is the date you get it. Most of what goes wrong on an infrastructure project goes wrong at one of those three points, and none of them are glamorous.
We are a small senior team by choice. It means the person who answers your question is the person doing the work, and there is no layer between the two.
Where we are
We are based in Tbilisi, Georgia, and we work with clients wherever the drawings need to be right. Our software is sold and supported internationally.
